XVII-XVIII welcomes submissions for its Varia section

XVII-XVIII is a double-blind peer-reviewed annual journal. It invites contributions addressing literature, history, the arts and the history of ideas in seventeenth and eighteenth-century Britain, British Empire and North America.

XVII-XVIII welcomes submissions.

To submit your contribution please follow these indications:

■ Articles must be sent as e-mail attachments (preferably in Word format). Manuscripts should conform to the MLA style manual (parenthetical citation system). Full bibliographic details should be provided at the end of the manuscript. Details are given below.

■ Recommended length for submissions is 6,000-8,000 words. Please include a 100 word abstract.

■ All images must be supplied as independent high-resolution 300 DPI files (600 to 5000 pixels in width), with reproduction rights secured and indication of source. Please indicate where you would like to insert them in your text with (Fig. number) and title.

■ In most cases, the result of the double blind peer review will be sent within three months of submission.

■ We will not consider texts submitted simultaneously to other journals or published elsewhere.

■ If an article published in XVII-XVIII is reused, author and bibliographical source must be quoted, preferably with a link to the original article. Please let the journal editors know: rseaa[at]1718.fr.
